Cyprus Opera Organization and Varna State Opera, presents Henry Purcell's Opera ''Dido and Aeneas'' for a unique performance in Limassol.

The famous baroque opera, in a libretto of Nahum Tate, is one of the masterpieces of the world's lyrical repertoire. Based on Virgil's Ainiad, she belongs to the Chamber Opera House and first appeared in July 1688 at Josias Priest girl's school at Chelsea London.

Since then, the opera "Dido and Aeneas" has enjoyed great success with famous performances in the biggest lyrical theaters of the world.
